Campsite and Booking Information

Opening dates

The park is open annually March – 31st October.

Booking arrangements

Bookings can be made online or by phone. Full payment is required at the time of booking. We offer a full refund if bookings are cancelled 3 days or more in advance of arrival date. Less than 3 days notice given and the full cost will be charged.

We have a bookings only policy in place so please do not travel to our site unless you have made a booking in advance.

We kindly ask that guests arrive between 1pm and 7.30pm and depart by 11am. Please phone us

if this isn't convenient and we will do our best to accommodate you (no arrivals after 9pm).

Please note refunds will not be given for adverse weather conditions.

Tents

We have 40 tent pitches. Stays of up to 10 days (maximum) can be booked but if staying for longer than 7 days we will ask guests to move pitch on the 7th day to protect the ground and allow grass to recover. We can accommodate tents up to a size of 7m x 4.5m.

Please note some of our tent pitches are on uneven ground. The site is situated 80m above sea level so it can be subject to strong winds at different times of the year, for this reason we recommend strong tents & pegs.

Touring & camping

We have 40 hard standing pitches for Motorhomes, Caravans and Campervans which include electric hook up (16 amps). Amenities for all guests include 2 shower/toilet blocks, electric shaver points & hair dryers, dishwashing/laundry area with coin operated washer dryer, chemical & grey water service point and free WiFi for all campsite guests.

Caravans, Motorhomes & Campervans can put up a small porch awning but it will be on hard standing so appropriate pegs should be used.

Additional booking conditions

Well behaved dogs are welcome. Dog owners are responsible for ensuring that their dogs are kept under control and on a lead at all times on the site and exercised off the site.

We are a holiday site only and 10 days is the longest stay we offer.

We can accept groups of up to six adults. All groups, including guests booking individually as part of a group, must contact the campsite for permission before making a booking. We reserve the right to cancel a booking where permission has not been given. Due to the size and topography of our site we are unable to accept groups of 7 or more adults.

Barbecues allowed but only if they are off the ground. No camp fires.

All guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.

"Our first time here and no complaints. Cheap for families. Great shower blocks.

Very well tended and clean site. I would definitely recommend to families. Solo campers and hiking. Large number of pitches and hookups. Overall fantastic"
